Work! :-(

Getting out of bed at 7.15 was rather painful this morning after two week’s holiday. And I’ve discovered that sitting in bed with a cup of tea till ten in the morning is very conducive to writing 1 if not 2 scenes a day for a mosaic play. The only thing for it is to win the lottery. (Note to self: do the lottery).

Lots of work to do though with the BBC Writersroom’s next window being January 21st to February 14th. (Is this getting shorter? Feels like it is), but they say NO radio plays presumably because of the Writer’s Prize.

If you’re interested in writing for radio and live near Basingstoke the rather marvellous Angela Street is running a ‘Radio Playwriting Course’ in the Discovery Centre. It starts on Monday 28th January at 11a.m. and runs till March 18th. I’ve done a few courses with Angela so can highly recommend them. And her.

The last thing is a link to an article by Douglas Maxwell called ‘How to be a Playwright’. I think I might have posted it before but it won’t hurt you to read it again.

Back to work for me, so happy writing all. X
