Got a cable I can borrow?

Filed under: New Competitions — Gina @ 00:23

So, the power cable for my laptop has died which means I’m stuck on my desk-top until Amazon pulls it finger out and sends my new one (and I didn’t even go for the cheapest cable because it had a couple of one star reviews that mentioned spontaneous combustion!). My desk top is a tad sssssssssssllllllllllllllllooooooooooowwwwwww and sometimes it just stops ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………. for no reason at all.

Anyway, there are three new writing showcases you can apply for:

She writes‘ is looking for 6-8 minute pieces from female playwrights on the subject of ‘Art’ by 30th July.

Writers Bloc want up to 15 minutes by 10th August for their showcase at The Old Red Lion Theatre in September.

Little Pieces of Gold wants no more than 20 minutes by 30th October for a November showcase at the Southwark Playhouse.

In September you’ll find the ACG has launched a new drama award and is looking for innovative and creative play scripts of 40 to 50 minutes in length. Have a look but it does have a £20 entrance fee.

Time for bed now. Happy writing all.
